¿Sabías que… Gmail no lee los puntos?

La otra vez estaba hablando con una persona y al pedirle su correo me dijo (el nombre es ficticio): juan.perez@gmail.com. Y yo le dije: “¿sabías que el punto está de más?” Y no lo sabía. Y ya que se lo conté a él, se lo cuento a ustedes.

Gmail no lee los puntos en las direcciones de correo. Es decir que todos estos correos apuntan al mismo usuario:

• juan.perez@gmail.com
• juan.p.erez@gmail.com
• j….uanperez@gmail.com
• j.u.a.n.p.e.r.e.z@gmail.com

Digo, todos estos correo serán recibidos por la cuenta juanperez@gmail.com. Esto es confirmado en esta página de Gmail Help.

Let it snow, let it snow... damned snow!

I can't just express myself better than this garfield comic, so that you can perfectly understand what I feel every day when I wake up, look through the window, and there is STILL SNOW!!

Spam... WTF?!

Well, today I've received a SPAM email that was just... well... better you read it:

SUBJECT: "Your ex will be begging for a second chance if you enlarge your tool"

Actually, I have to admit that is a good one ;)

Sommer holidays: read a book!

And this year I'm not going have any holidays at all, but I don't want to break the tradition of spending the sommer reading a good book (books maybe?).
I've started reading the Stieg Larsson's saga... "The girl with the dragon Tattoo": mystery, secrets, a possible murder... aaah, definitely my favorite novel's genre :)
I haven't finished the first book of the saga yet, but 'till now I'm just delighted.
A part from this saga, I have another saga (Is this going to be the saga's year?) waiting on my bedside table:

• Javier Marías. Your face tomorrow 1, 2 and 3 (Tu rostro mañana 1, 2 y 3): Three books with more than 1500 pages overall...

I can't wait to start this one too...

Pascualet...

Hey, hey...

While I was in Spain in September, we've got a new member in the family at my parents home... Pascualet!!
My sister found him, he was at death's door, and I really mean it. He got all kind of diseases one little kitty can have. He is blind because he has a virus transmitted by his mother, he had red skin spots from some fungus thing, his tail was broken, so the doctor had to cut it... mm... he also had stomach-bugs.. well.. he was so wasted that it took more than a month for him to recover from everything.. but now he is ok and happy at his new home!

He is soooo cute, I understand my mom wanted to keep him hehehe...
I want to say, that this is not a blog copy-cat from other blogs where people talks about their kitties... and I am not pointing anybody particular... hehehehe

For Christmas I'll make some other photos of him, now he is not a kitty anymore I guess...

Getting what we want...

Is it really so that we spend our entire lives trying to get what we want?
I guess some people try harder in order to get as much as they can, and others, conformists (or should I say realists?) just take what they really can and still find hapiness...
But my question is, do we really need everything we want?
I guess here comes the moment when we do sacrifices and start letting things that we want just go...

My little thing...

... for those who are thinking what's Maria's little thing?, and have already started to imagine what it would be... eeeeeh... well, I will just say that is blue, tinny and soooo cute!

My little biiird!
Something like 3 weeks ago, I decided to have some company with me at my flat, and, because I've already had budgies before, and I know I can teach them some tricks, I went with Maria to a pet shop, faaaar away, to get one.


Now I'm just delighted :)
It has taken 2 weeks for him to trust me, but right now, he realised he can't go anywhere, aaaand also that I can be veeery insistent want for him all the best.
I'm already teaching him to whistle, to land on my finger, to jump through a ring, ok, ok, no ring trick, but on the other two we've already done some advances!

I don't know if you appreciate but there he is soooo sleeping on my shoulder...

Louis, I mean, Peri, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

PD: Hehe.. also I wanted to post today 08-08-08 that, I know, it's a little bit freaky but it will only happen once in a lifetime right? ;)
