Pascualet...

Hey, hey...
While I was in Spain in September, we've got a new member in the family at my parents home... Pascualet!!
My sister found him, he was at death's door, and I really mean it. He got all kind of diseases one little kitty can have. He is blind because he has a virus transmitted by his mother, he had red skin spots from some fungus thing, his tail was broken, so the doctor had to cut it... mm... he also had stomach-bugs.. well.. he was so wasted that it took more than a month for him to recover from everything.. but now he is ok and happy at his new home!

He is soooo cute, I understand my mom wanted to keep him hehehe...
I want to say, that this is not a blog copy-cat from other blogs where people talks about their kitties... and I am not pointing anybody particular... hehehehe

For Christmas I'll make some other photos of him, now he is not a kitty anymore I guess...

Getting what we want...

Is it really so that we spend our entire lives trying to get what we want?
I guess some people try harder in order to get as much as they can, and others, conformists (or should I say realists?) just take what they really can and still find hapiness...
But my question is, do we really need everything we want?
I guess here comes the moment when we do sacrifices and start letting things that we want just go...

My little thing...

... for those who are thinking what's Maria's little thing?, and have already started to imagine what it would be... eeeeeh... well, I will just say that is blue, tinny and soooo cute!
My little biiird!
Something like 3 weeks ago, I decided to have some company with me at my flat, and, because I've already had budgies before, and I know I can teach them some tricks, I went with Maria to a pet shop, faaaar away, to get one.

Now I'm just delighted :)
It has taken 2 weeks for him to trust me, but right now, he realised he can't go anywhere, aaaand also that I can be veeery insistent want for him all the best.
I'm already teaching him to whistle, to land on my finger, to jump through a ring, ok, ok, no ring trick, but on the other two we've already done some advances!

I don't know if you appreciate but there he is soooo sleeping on my shoulder...
Louis, I mean, Peri, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

PD: Hehe.. also I wanted to post today 08-08-08 that, I know, it's a little bit freaky but it will only happen once in a lifetime right? ;)

Music

To keep on the tradition of posting music, this time I would like to introduce this spanish group that's one of my favourites: M-Clan.
They have a long carrer on their back, but I wanted to play this song from the first album of this band. This is a very special song to me in this moment of my life.

The song: No tan bueno.
Album: Usar y tirar.

This year, they have launched a new album, Memorias de un espantapájaros, I can't wait to listen to it...

Curious searches

Yeah, people, after long some time disappeared I've decided to come back to the wonderful world of blogging/posting by using an idea I had some time ago.
The thing is that through google-blogger I can know what's people googling so that they are redirected to my site... hehe... very funny. Here some of the searches:

na na na na

Well, googling all this information, yeah, I clearly understand that this person was redirected to my blog!!... Next time maybe be more specific... :)

wattwanderung

Aaaah, Sommer-time... Some of the searches were people trying to find information about this phenomena in the Nordsea... poor people... they won't find anything in my blog but ... JP's glorious funny moments... still laughing :')

maria agosto's blog

Ehm.. well... I guess some people cannot decide between english and spanish ¬¬ ' (maybe this is the reason because this spanglish is so popular)...

maria goleva bremen

Uffs... Maria I would start being worried because is not only that someone is googling you... they also know where you aaaareeee

the world will be mine

Ok man, I don't think the conquest of the world starts by googling you plans, but... hey! I guess it can give you some ideas right? God bless wikipedia...

This was all for this post... next one... I will introduce you a little new friend of mine...
;)

My frustration can only be expressed by this episode of south park...

About Spiders...

This is a post about me and my war against Spiders...
Not so long time ago, I used to think that I was a bugs-friend. I let them live in my room/bathroom/kitchen/... as long as they didn't touch me in peace and freedom :)

But one day, I realised that I had not only a different Spider in every corner on my room, also at my bedside and behind my armchair... well THIS was just the straw that broke the camel's back (hehe.. I've check that!... ays.. so funny ) :´)
I even started having spider's nightmares! I had to do something... But It wasn't till one night when the big spider on my room decided to have a walk till my bed's surroundings, that I decided to declare the WAR on spiders!

- Ok, war is declared, and now what? -- was the first thing that I thought.
- Mmmm... these damned spiders are settled at the top of my room's ceiling... -- Believe me, I have a really hight ceiling in my room (hundr... ehemm.... well, maybe 3 meters high).
- Now, how can I reach-and-kill them in one go?

At this point ideas start flowing in my head:
  1. I can get onto my chair and try to throw a book (really quicky and precisely) to the spider and crush it.
  2. Well, maybe this is a little bit difficult, better If I use a broom.
  3. But a broom is soft and maybe I don't kill her... Eureka! I will use the broom's stick with a tissue stuck at the end and with this simple sophisticated method there is no chance for the spider to scape! MUAHAHA... HA... ha.... ha... ha
Then I performed the first attempt so satisfactorily that no one could stop me and I killed them all... But there is a mistery around this story, guys. The fact is that, since then, I haven't seen not even one more spider in my room :|

I think they know there is a serial-killer me in that room and they just don't get in... scary, isn't it?! Because... they can communicate to each other!! Maybe it's in my imagination (or maybe it is just cold and winter and they are hibernating) :P

Take care!!

Hey Ho!

Don’t you think that I’ve forgotten my beloved blog!!
It’s just that exams-period started and so, I have lots of things to do… and to study.
Moreover, I cannot concentrate in the library and the situation with me and my books is like this cat and his food. But I can feel it, things are going to change, I can smell it … First, Easter will come, then Summer … uffs… I can’t wait :P

By the way, there is a fact that must be celebrated (no, it’s not Valentine’s day), we are having Sun in Bremen!! Two consecutive days!! Even if it’s freezing out there (-2ºC), at least, when you look through the window the sky is blue :)

Other stuff: I’ve been to the cinema to watch “No country for old men” … well, I strongly recommend this movie. I won’t give any details, I will only say that I was expecting a different movie from what I saw in the trailer, and after watching it, the only words that came out are: “Wow, great job!”
Now is your turn to say what you think! ;)

Take care people!

As I promised...

... in a previous post, here some photos of my New Year's Trip :)

The plane was taking off from Valencia to Basel... I know what you are thinking, that I was going to Zurich, but is the price you pay for travelling with Ryanair. Anyway, there in Valencia we spent one night guess where?!! At Nicandro's place!!! hehehe... When we arrived to Valencia, there was waiting for us Nicandrito and a girl from Taiwan whose name I cannot WRITE and Angelaaa!!
Then the tour started... Angela make us walk a lot, but we visited many places! Here some photos.

But there is a photos which I want to specially dedicate to Juanitoooo... Just for you to demonstrate what spanish think about shit and shitting :)

So, about Zurich I've already told you a few things, here, that you have to take on accout if any time you decide to go, but I wanted to show you also how nice Switzerland is. First of all, the Alps! I think that they are amazing, I was wondering all the time to make a nice photo, but as you can imagine the weather is not so wonderful... At the end I could make a nice one but during our visit to Bern.

The image on the Left is from Gruyère, one group of mountains where one can ski near Bern. And the one on the Right if from the Gurten, one mountain at the city with 858 height where you can enjoy a great panoramic view!

So, what's typical from Switzerland?? Of course clocks, the Tirol, Heidi, the Fondue, the Alps, the Zytglogge, Einstein haus (at Bern), ok, ok... let's start putting some pics!
From Zurich city I would highlight that one can eat really well there, and of course, really important to try their Chocolate!!

For those who feel a little bit frikis, the pic on the right is me in front of the haus of Johann Kaspar Lavater who was close friend of Goethe and if you zoom the image on the top, there is written that on the year 1779 Lavater, Goethe and Karl August, Duke of Weimar meet at this haus.
What else... ? Ah! Fondue and if you eat it at a mountain in the Alps ... better!

And to finish some typical photos of the center of Bern where you can see the so famous Zytlog... Zytol... Zytglogge! God, I have always to check how is this "madre" written. Also there it's me at Einstein Haus and me doing stupid thing :P

Well, of course, I can be here putting photos and photos and never closing this post. But no! I would be strong and contain myself!

Kisseeeeeeeees!!!

Shit yourself little parrot...

Today, officially for the first time, a bird shit on me.
Yes, and I have to say that here in Bremen birds are not as tinny as the ones we have in Spain, here birds are half meter wide at least, so you can imagine how the shit was.. ok, ok... too much information.
But, thinking in positive, How should I take that a bird shit on me??
  • Brings that good-luck?? Brings it bad-luck? :S
  • Should I take that as a good sign for the new year that is beginning?
  • Are the socialists going to win again the elections in Spain this year?
  • Is our king Juan Carlos I literally kick Chavez ass?
  • Is Britney Spears finally going to stay in jail for the rest of her life?

. . .

This and more questions will be answered and STRONGLY determined because today a bird shit on me (on my hair to be precised, and It was disgusting... :P)

Happy New Year 2008!!

Hi there!!

First of all:

2008!!

As most of you know, I've spent my New Year Eve in Zurich (Switzerland). In this post I want to remark some things that I've learnt from that trip:
  1. Going to Madrid by car is easy. Things start to become vague, blurred funny once you reach "Atocha". =)
  2. Not in the whole Europe is the Euro taken as currency.
  3. Even if the Euro is not taken as currency in every country in Europe, at least in Switzerland, you can always pay in Euros. "Ja, Sicher!" - ¬¬ '
  4. One is never prepared to stand the fucking so wonderful cold at the mountains.
  5. New Years Eve is celebrated everywhere the same: FIREWORKS always required =)
  6. Trips do NOT need special preparation, such as, knowing something about the country/city previously, printing a map some days before the trip, buying a guide of Zurich... Of course, you will always complain about the fact of being so careless and didn't get all that information before.
  7. You will buy the right ticket to take the bus, then, of course, once you get on the bus, you will realize about the fact that this ticket needs to be printed with the current date to be valid and that the machine to do that is not in the bus, it is at the bus-stop. ¬¬'
  8. Even if you felt stupid about the fact of the bus-ticket. You can always forget AGAIN to print the ticket with the current date :P
  9. Some of the things that I learnt in the Deustchkurse at Goethe Institut about Switzerland were useful.
  10. Only Indians work at Hauptbanhof.
  11. Schweitzerdeutch is not so easy to understand, specially from Indians working at Hauptbanhof.
  12. To make your german more understandable in Switzerland, you just need to pronounce it as you were Spanish (see Jacobian).
  13. Live in Switzerland is REALLY expensive! But they have nice notes (cash), of course, just to confuse you a little bit more, the coin of 20 cents is bigger than the 50 cents! OMG!
  14. And the most important one that I've learned for granted:
ALWAYS HAVE A 'B-PLAN'!! :)

Hehe... I've enjoyed that trip a lot!! Fer, I'm ready for the next one!!
:P
Next post I promise a more detailed (here understand 'photos') view of the trip to Switzerland!

Lots of kisses!!
